​​​​​During the month of January, the Our Healthy Kentucky Home campaign focuses on diabetes. According to the 2025 Kentucky Department for Public Health Diabetes Report, more than 480,000 Kentucky adults had diabetes in 2023​. Another 14% of Kentucky adults had prediabetes, which is a serious health condition that increases your risk of developing type 2 diabetes, heart disease and stroke. ​

By incorporating simple and achievable lifestyle changes into your daily routine, you have the power to prevent and manage diabetes. ​We encourage you to use the resources below to personalize the Our Healthy Kentucky Home campaign to meet your unique circumstances.​
